Mary T. Lee

Mary Lee has more than 30 years of senior management public sector experience in a wide range of Provincial government ministries, boards and tribunals. In addition, she is trained and experienced mediator and adjudicator. Her current position is Director of Operations, which is part of the Social Justice Tribunals Cluster at the Ministry of the Attorney General. Mary is responsible for overseeing the operations of eight province-wide boards and tribunals.

Highly regarded for her expertise in dispute resolution, she is best known for her outstanding ability to streamline business processes, eliminate backlogs, and design and implement alternative dispute resolution processes while ensuring efficiency and fairness within the system.

Mary T. Lee is a graduate of York University’s Osgoode Law School, with a degree in L.L.M., specializing in alternate dispute resolution. Mary also teaches in the Humber ADR Graduate Certificate Program. In partnership with St. Stephen’s Community House, Mary launched the Humber Dispute Resolution Clinic which services the community in South Etobicoke and students at Humber College.

She is a long standing member of the Society of Adjudicators and Regulators, the ADR Institute of Ontario, the Council of Canadian Administrative Tribunals, and member of SHIP’s Board of Directors.
