The Hansen Development is a community-based housing initiative located at 247 Queen Street East in Brampton.
The development consists of a 15 storey building offering 205 units of affordable living for families, singles and seniors. There will be two floors of retail and commercial space on floors one and two with the residential component starting on the third floor.
Construction began in early spring of 2014 with occupancy slated for early 2016.
The project is funded by a partnership between the Government of Canada, the Government of Ontario, the Region of Peel and SHIP.
Development Updates
- December 2014 – SHIP will be accepting applications for market rent units commencing March 2015.
