Lorraine Gandolfo has been a Brampton resident since 1977 and a fluently bilingual member of the francophone community who wishes to ensure as much as possible the community continues to have access to equitable services across Peel.
She served eleven years as a trustee for the Dufferin-Peel Catholic School Board and is now retired from the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) where she worked as an Area Manager, Manager of Communications and as Director of Human Resources. At the OTF she was accountable for a $20 million annual allocation budget administered by a team of 8 program managers as well as a local Ottawa team of 4 who managed an $8 million annual allocation budget.
Lorraine has also been the Executive Director for the provincial school board trustee association (8 French-language catholic Boards) Association Franco-Ontarienne des conseils scolaires catholiques (AFOCSC) and responsible and accountable for all financial processes, membership requirements and communications
Her involvement over the last forty years has varied from local community groups, the Parish committee as well as being a member of several boards. Lorraine has a strong understanding and appreciation for the principles of effective governance.
She has previously served a six-year term as Board member for the Central-West Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) and is currently on the Board of Le Cercle de l’Amitié in Mississauga and is also a member of the Board of Directors of SHIP
