SHIP rests on lands which are covered by the treaty lands and territories of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nations, the Tionontati, Attawandaron, and the Six Nations of the Grand River, which are covered by Treaties 4, 13, 18 and 19. We acknowledge that our privilege to work on Turtle Island, today and in future, is a direct result of historical and present harm, exclusion, and assimilation of Indigenous Peoples.
