Ancestral memory: Impact of oppression
This workshop is for health & social services professionals to support their work with marginalized communities, and to raise consciousness of intergenerational trauma. The framework of this workshop anti-oppression, consent, and trauma informed.
Learning objectives:
As service providers, we can become stuck in our knowledge of trauma and oppression, and our body can forget to enact allyship. Will explore what is allyship beyond theory, and how to practice our beliefs with our actions.
