February 22, 2024 – SHIP (Services and Housing In the Province) and the Region of Waterloo are excited to partner for a transitional housing program in April 2024, located on University Avenue in Waterloo, Ontario.
Through an on-site multi-disciplinary team, this program will support individuals who are unhoused in the Waterloo region, providing them with housing and supports for up to a 3 year period. This 24 hour, 7 day per week multi-disciplinary team will include on-site nursing, addictions, mental health, hoarding and housing specialists.
Services and Housing In the Province (SHIP) is a non-profit accredited housing and health service provider. For over 30 years, SHIP has been delivering services to communities in Ontario and is one of the largest supportive housing providers in the province.
With this program expansion, SHIP will be hiring a number of talented, driven individuals to work on the new team. Anyone interested in applying for a position in the program are encouraged to apply on our Careers page.
