SHIP’s Problematic Substance Use (PSU) Program is a partnership with Peel Addiction and Referral Centre (PAARC.) This vital partnership was created to assist individuals in meeting the challenges of their complex addiction issues.
The PSU Program is designed to create a supportive environment and circumstances for individuals who frequently access withdrawal management services and other assistance from the addiction treatment system.

The PSU Program is responsive to the relapsing nature of problematic substance use and takes a harm reduction approach to treatment.Integrated, multi-disciplinary teams provide housing co-ordination and addiction services.
